In light of numerous cancellations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, soprano Hannah De Priest and fortepiano Michael Pecak reimagined their “At Beethoven’s Hearth” recital for a virtual platform. “Beethoven at Home: Part 1” features the duo performing celebrated works by Beethoven, including his song Abendlied, the ever-popular “Moonlight” Sonata, and the masterful An die ferne Geliebte. This performance was presented by Ars Music Chicago and streamed on May 23, 2020.
